Breast Center
Services
In addition to educating women about breast health practices, the Center provides physical, emotional and spiritual support in the event that breast cancer is detected. Thanks to a donation by the Auxiliary of Rush Oak Park Hospital, the Breast Center now has a Mammotome Breast Biopsy Unit. In addition to this technology, the Center provides the following services:
- Screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Clinical breast exams
- MRI and Ultrasound breast exams
- Second opinion consultation
- Specialized post-operative therapy
- Nutrition support
- Spiritual counseling
- Lymphedema
We provide referrals to the following off-site services:
- Hair and breast prosthetic referral
- Genetic risk assessment
- Psychosocial services
- Support groups
