Joint Replacement
Our orthopedic physicians provide hip, knee and shoulder replacements for individuals who have a new or old joint injury, arthritis, or side effects from medication (such as steroids). A partial or total joint replacement will allow you to regain the function and stamina you need to work and to live a fully active life.

In addition to standard joint replacement surgery, qualified candidates may be eligible for procedures developed more recently, for example:
- Minimally invasive orthopedic surgery involves the use of specially developed instrumentation and new surgical techniques. Because MIS surgery uses small punctures in the skin compared to long incisions that cut muscle tissue, blood loss during surgery is minimized, the hospital stay is shortened, pain is reduced, and patients can return to a normal lifestyle more quickly.
- Surgeons are now using Computer Assisted Navigation, an image-guided navigation system to visually confirm and verify their work during the surgery, which provides greater precision during implant procedures.

The hospital houses both a Skilled Care Unit as well as the Center for Rehabilitation, which is fully accredited and managed by Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.
